Referat zawiera przegląd nowoczesnych rozwiązań i materiałów dociepleniowych. Do nich należą: styropian, wełna mineralna i szklana, ekofiber, europerl, thermocel, pianka poliuretanowa i krylaminowa.

Traditional building materials in many cases not keep the main features of insulation products. This features are bringing by new social expect and official regulations. Needful changes depend on problems with energy. Owing to easy installation and significant energy saving, new insulating products are well received by the customers and expected to emerge as a new major product. Main characteristics of modern insulating materials are: consistent low density, high absorptivity, chemical inertness, water repellency, chemical resistance, anticorrosion. The youngest children of this branch are materials made from cellulose (thermocel) and lightweight thermal insulation from vulcanite perlite (europerl). As the insulations of the last generation they keep the energy in each part of their life: from production (raw material), through exploitation (insulation) to the end of their work (agricultural materials).
