Inflow of Foreign Capital to Poland

Abstrakty
Przedstawiono obszerną analizę etapu napływu kapitału zgranicznego w Polsce. Autorki wyodrębniły 4 takie etapy: fazę studiów i badań rynku przez inwestorów zagranicznych; fazę inwestycji sondażowych; fazę realizacji pierwszych większych inwestycji oraz fazę masowego napływu iwestycji zagranicznych. Omówiono prawne i infrastrukturalne warunki stworzone inwestorom zagranicznym, atrakcyjność inwestycyjną Polski na tle innych krajów postkomunistycznych. Przedstawiono inwestycje zagraniczne w Polsce po pierwszym kwartale 1995 roku oraz listę 291 największych inwestorów zagranicznych wraz z analizą ich struktury branżowej. Podsumowując, Autorki stwierdziły, że Polska obecnie znajduje się na pograniczu fazy trzeciej i czwartej w procesie napływu kapitału zagranicznego.
The article is an attempt to answer the question: "at what stage is Poland today taking into account four phases in the process of foreign inwestmnet inflow?" In order to answer above question the authors analyze the regulations concerning the inflow of foreign capital to Poland. First they concentrate their attention on the basis for operation of foreign capital in handicraft which was created by the decree of 1976. Next they talk about the act of 1986 which allowed to set companies with participation of foreign capital (joint ventures) and other law regulations which were introduced till 1994. Farther on the authors consider the factors which influence directly the degree of interest on Poland shown by foreign capital. Moreover the article includes many statistical data illustrating the scale of problem. (origunal abstract)
