Abstrakty
Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie teoretycznych i praktycznych aspektów zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem zgodnie z ideą ekorozwoju. Autorka analizuje otoczenie przedsiębiorstwa przemysłowego oraz formułuje strategię zarządzania środowiskowego. Zmiany wskazane przez autorkę mają, jej zdaniem, ograniczyć negatywne oddziaływanie produkcji przemysłowej na środowisko przyrodnicze oraz zapewnić sukces rynkowy przedsiębiorstwu.
The study concems certain theoretical and practical aspects of business management in agreement with the ideas of constant development (ecological development). Environmental business management is a method of including the expectations of ecological system into business management. It appeals to the social responsibility of an enterprise; the responsibility which consists in meeting the obligations of an enterprise to protect and secure the society which it is acting in, and also to ensure the ecological safety according to the intra- and inergeneration justice. There are standard procedures (e.g. ISO 14000 standards) that can be used to build the strategy of environmental business management. On the other hand, traditional methods of business management can be saturated by ecological elements. It is also necessary to set environmental strategic goals, to analyse the environment and the enterprise and to state how to put the chances of the enterprise to good account and how to avoid menaces thanks to having recognised the strong points and weaknesses of the enterprise connected with the protection of the environment. The interest in environmental business management increased markedly in the nineties and it seems to be a constant phenomenon. It meets the social demand, which is visible especially in the most developed countries, to popularise the healthy style of life. At such circumstances, pro-ecological activities are used by enterprises as a part of competitive struggie and an effective device for creating their image. (original abstract)
