Artykuł przedstawia ewolucję w relacjach pomiędzy Amerykańskimi i Japońskimi metodami zarządzania. Dokonano porównania TQM i Lean Management z reengineeringiem.

The paper present evolution of the interrelations between the American and Japanese methodology of management. Similarities and differences in the approaches within TQM and reengineering are discusses. Assuming that TQM is a method adopted for the needs of reengineering an attempt was made to compare its methodological structure with the system of Lean Management. (original abstract)
