Abstrakty

W pierwszej części opracowania na tle potrzeb człowieka przedstawiono poziom i strukturę spożycia dóbr przez społeczeństwo polskie w 1999 roku. W drugiej części rozważania skoncentrowano na zagadnieniu bezpieczeństwa żywnościowego. Omówiono międzynarodowe bezpieczeństwo żywnościowe, bezpieczeństwo żywnościowe państwa oraz bezpieczeństwo w wymiarze gospodarstwa domowego.

Human being has various needs which importance is changing together with the development of societies, unfortunately we can not measure human needs but we know however that they are greater than possibilities to satisfy them and the difference is the stimulus for a man to their better and better satisfaction. Needs are satisfied by goods consumption and based on consumption structure one can formulate conclusion on the role in this consumption of particular goods. Activities nowadays included into agribusiness satisfied in the past the full scope of the human needs. Together with the activities development new areas emerged which year after year take over bigger and bigger scope of human needs. Nevertheless contemporary agribusiness with its goods and functions satisfies various human needs but in various level. In the broadest scope it satisfies nutritional needs, caring for nutritional security and food self-sufficiency. (original abstract)
