The paper discusses the role of the Ombudsman in efforcing the Constitutional principle of non-discrimination based on gender. The paper describes the procedures used by the Ombudsman, regulations regarding the collection of information on violations of human rights and freedoms as well as civic right, and provisions that indicate agencies authorised to file claims in the case of such violations.
