W artykule przedstawiono procedurę wartościowania ograniczoną do sprawdzania kompletności i spójności bazy wiedzy. Autor scharakteryzował również dwa podejścia: przedtransformacyjne oraz posttransformacyjne, które wiążą się z weryfikacją wiedzy niejednorodnej.

Knowledge-based system developers face to extend sources of knowledge different sorts. Usage of heterogeneous knowledge is necessary when the solved problems require up-to-date and direct access to external data- and knowledge bases or simply to domain experts. In such circumstances existence of different knowledge forms and sources is obvious. In order to assure high quality of a knowledge base derived from the system environment we have to verify obtained knowledge. The verification procedure applied for heterogeneous knowledge is more complicated and multi- phased. Two main approaches: pre-transformational and post-transformational will be presented and compared in the paper. The first one pre-transformational consists in checking knowledge properties in the initial stages of knowledge acquisition and the same it's assures local validity. The second one post-transformational starts after expression different knowledge fragments in common representation formalism (decision tables for example) and as a result it has more global meaning. Usability of these approaches was illustrated on the real cases. (original abstract)
