Abstrakty

Algorytmy genetyczne stanowią jedną z dziedzin sztucznej inteligencji, znajdującą coraz powszechniejsze zastosowania w wielu naukach, m.in. w ekonomii. W artykule przedstawiono koncepcję podstawowego algorytmu genetycznego oraz pewną jego modyfikację. Zaprezentowano wybrane zastosowania ekonomiczne tego typu narzędzi. Przeanalizowano koncepcję wykorzystania tej metody do konstrukcji prostego systemu doradczego wspomagającego podejmowanie decyzji inwestycyjnych na giełdzie papierów wartościowych, a także przedyskutowana została efektywność tej metodologii. Przedstawiono również potencjalne korzyści oraz podstawowe uwarunkowania efektywnego stosowania algorytmów genetycznych w ekonomii, wskazując na szerokie możliwości ich rozwoju. Genetic algorithms represent an artificial intelligence method which is finding broader and broader application in many areas of science, among others in economics. This article presents the concept of the basic genetic algorithm, as well as certain modification thereto. Next, selected applications of this type of tool in economics are presented. The paper analyses the concept of utilising this method to construct a simple advisory system which supports decision-making in investments on the stock market, and also discusses the effectiveness of this methodology. Also presented are the potential advantages as well as basic conditions for effective application of genetic algorithms in economics, indicating the broad possibilities for their development.
