Abstrakty
W artykule przedstawiono charakterystykę i specyfikę rynku nieruchomości w USA. Omówiono dwie ważne instytucje finansowe działające w sferze tego rynku: MLS (multiple-listing-services) i konto escrow.
This study describes the emergence and development of new institutions on the real estate market in the USA. Some of these institutions are already functioning in Poland; others may appear in the near future. The author looks at the factors shaping supply and demand on the residential real estate market in the USA, which is regarded as the world trendsetter. Hence, the market mechanisms tried and tested on this market and the experiences with these mechanisms may be adopted as a model worth considering for Poland. (original abstract)
