Abstrakty

W artykule autor analizuje kierunki zmian w strukturze inwestycyjnej towarzystw ubezpieczeniowych w latach 1991-1994. Opisuje problemy przed jakimi stoją towarzystwa m. in. problem inwestowania funduszy - gdzie i w jakiej proporcji zainwestować środki finansowe powierzone towarzystwu ubezpieczeniowemu przez klienta.

One problem facing insurance companies is deciding how to secure resources to finance their operations. Another, and perhaps more important problem concerns how to invest funds in their possession. The location and size of investments were specified in the Law on Insurance Activities. In spite of the limitations specified in the Law, insurers can develop various strategies of investment management. In this article, the author discusses trends and changes in the investment structure of insurance companies in the years 1991-94. (original abstract)
