Artykuł ma charakter dyskusyjny i stanowi wstęp do tekstów zamieszczonych w powyższym Zeszycie Naukowym (zob. źródło). Autor dowodzi, że nauki społeczne, tj. filozofia, socjologia, psychologia, nie są w kształceniu menedżerów tylko dopełnieniem programu studiów, ale stanowią fundament do budowy fachowych kompetencji.

The author proves that the process of educating managers social sciences - philosophy, sociology and psychology - are not a complement of the syllabus which is to broaden the intellectual horizons of the student, but constitue, depending on the department, a foundation on which professional competence can be built. In the following text the Author - the science editor of Scientific Papers Compilation - presents and comments on the other authors' texts printed therein, voicing his own criticism at the same time.
