Abstrakty

Rozwój rynku pieniężnego w Polsce w latach 90-tych, a szczególnie rynku krótkoterminowych papierów dłużnych przedsiębiorstw, sprawił, iż poszerzył się zakres instrumentów możliwych do wykorzystania w zarządzaniu finansami w przedsiębiorstwie. Krótkoterminowe papiery dłużne (zarówno skarbowe, jak i przedsiębiorstw) zapewniają wyższą rentowność niż depozyty bankowe, większą płynność, a także dają możliwość dywersyfikacji portfela krótkoterminowych aktywów finansowych. Emisja KPD jest źródłem pozyskania kapitałów tańszych od kredytów bankowych, nie wymagających zabezpieczeń prawnych, umożliwiających elastyczne dostosowanie ich wielkości i czasu dysponowania nimi do potrzeb finansowych przedsiębiorstwa.

The development of the financial market in Poland in 1990s, and particularly the development of the Commercial Papers (CP) enriched the range of tools used in financial management. Short-term securities (property and business) are characterised by greater profitability than a bank deposit, greater liquidity and make it possible to diversificate the portfolio of short-term financial assets. The CP emission is a source of funds that are cheaper than bank credits, they don't require any lawful security and make it possible to adapt these capitals and the time to administer them to the financial requirements of the business as an issuer. Evaluating the prospects of the financial market development in Poland in the bearing of the range of the market tools as well as their roles while making various financial decisions, the necessity to reduce the investment risk connected with CP of companies should be pointed out together with the fact that it can be achieved through the institution of credit-rating.
