Rolnictwo i gospodarka żywnościowa to działy gospodarki wymagające restrukturyzacji organizacyjnej, strukturalnej techniczno-technologicznej oraz świadomościowej. W artykule skupiono się na problemach związanych z finansowaniem rolnictwa w kontekście przystąpienia Polski do Unii Europejskiej.

The paper deals with the conditioning of the adjustment processes taking place in the Polish agriculture and the whole sphere of food economy, aimed at meeting the requirements of the European Union, and at the same time raises the problem of Poland's accession to the UE. The author presents the dilemmas and discusses the barriers to Poland` integration into the European Union. The paper contains the author's observations and remarks regarding the necessary conditions resulting from the adjustment and restructuring programmes in the agricultural and food economies. Most attention has been given to the problem of financing the restructuring processes and modernization of agriculture and its surroundings. (original abstract)
