Changes in Production Structure and the Network of Enterprises in the Construction Industry During the Transformation Period

Abstrakty
W artykule poddano analizie zmiany jakie zachodziły w budownictwie w okresie transformacji w latach 1990-1997. Omówiono dynamikę i strukturę produkcji. Zwrócono uwagę na przeobrażenia w sieci przedsiębiorstw budowlanych. W zakończeniu podkreślono, że nastąpił znaczny rozwój inwestycji zagranicznych w tym sektora prywatnego. Równocześnie zwrócono uwagę na fakt, że polskie przedsiębiorstwa są ciągle mało konkurencyjne na rynkach obcych i wewnętrznych w porównaniu z konsorcjami zagranicznymi.
The two main issues addressed in this article are the problem of analysing the production structure of construction enterprises during the transformation and the problem of evaluating changes in the network of construction enterprises. In particular, the authors describe the structure of production according to implementation systems, classified by construction sector group and construction type. The analysis of the enterprise network looks at the structure of companies according to ownership form, number of employees, and construction sector groups and classes. The authors also determine the average size of an enterprise measured in terms of employment levels. (original abstract)
