Przedstawiono sektorową strukturę pracujących w regionach typu NTS-3. Omówiono dane dotyczące sektorowej struktury inwestycji w podregionach Polski.

The article presents the outcome of research on the sectoral structure of regional economy on the sub-regional level (NTS-3 level). The employment structure and the structure of investment expenditure in companies within 44 sub-regions across four sectors, i.e.: sector I - agriculture, forestry and fisheries, sector II - manufacturing and building industries, sector III - market services, sector IV - non-market services, was the subject of the analysis. The author provides identification (with the Ward's method) of the structural profile of sub-regions through separation of uniform groups specified by definite tendencies in employment and investment.(original abstract)
