Abstrakty
The task of information agents in e-commerce is the acquisition, gathering and processing of the information and knowledge on behalf of active units of e-commerce companies (e.g. managers, brokers and customers). The following article briefly describes information agents and Multi-Agent Systems built of such agents; it shows the potential of their use in e-commerce and describes some of the existin applications (production scheduling and organizing of e-mail).
