W artykule niniejszym przedstawiono wybrane strategie biznesu elektronicznego, dzięki którym największe amerykańskie firmy działające w branżach: komputerowej, infrastruktury sieciowej oraz tworzyw sztucznych osiągnęły sukces pomimo światowego kryzysu gospodarczego. Kluczem do sukcesu tych firm było wsparcie tradycyjnego modelu biznesowego B2B innowacyjnymi rozwiązaniami handlu elektronicznego.
