Abstrakty

W artykule przedstawiono kształtowanie się kierunku bezpośrednich inwestycji zagranicznych (BIZ) w Polsce w ostatnich dziewięciu latach. Pierwsze przedsiębiorstwa z udziałem kapitału zagranicznego powstawały w Polsce w połowie lat siedemdziesiątych, ale szczególnie duże zainteresowanie Polską ze strony inwestorów obcych odnotowano w drugiej połowie lat 90, kiedy efekty transformacji systemowej zaczęły być rzeczywiście widoczne. W tym okresie zostały także skonkretyzowane perspektywy przyjęcia Polski do Unii Europejskiej. W latach 1996-2000 wielkość napływającego kapitału obcego systematycznie wzrastała, natomiast kolejne lata przyniosły jednak załamanie trendu wzrostowego. W artykule przedstawiono dane statystyczne dotyczące BIZ na świecie, w Środkowej i Wschodniej Europie oraz w Polsce.

The article presents a shaping of direct foreign investment (DPI) in Poland in the period of last nine year on the background of changes in capital transfers in the world economy. The first enterprises with share of foreign capital were created in Poland in mid 70-ies, but on large scale foreign investors were interested in Poland in the second mid 90-ies when effects of system transformation appeared visibly. In the period preceding accession of Poland into the European Union -perspective of integration as a ride stimulates new DFI in a country - a scale of foreign investment in Poland was decreasing and barely in 2004, when the membership of Poland in the European Union was a fact, was a renewed increase of DFI noted. Decreasing of capital affluence was a consequence of some conditions, including: slowing down privatisation, entering the Polish economy in the phase of recession and constantly not good investment climate. Thesis, taken in this article, -were illustrated by statistical material presenting changes in the framework of scale and structure of DFI in the world, in the Central and Eastern Europe countries, and in Poland.
