Celem publikacji jest próba oceny wybranych aspektów instytucjonalnych Europejskiego Systemu Banków Centralnych oraz stabilności makroekonomicznej w obszarze euro w ciągu czterech pierwszych lat (1999-2002) funkcjonowania Unii Gospodarczej i Walutowej.
