The aim of the paper is to analyze the credit support schemes which are operating in some post socialistic countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Hungary. The analysis showed that there are plenty of different possibilities of using credit as an instrument of agricultural intervention. In every country a special state institution was established to realize of this credit intervention. (original abstract)
