Integrated Product Policy (IPP) is the European Union program oriented on the reduction of negative effect of the products on the environment. IPP is oriented on the deter-mination of the environmental impact of goods and services during whole product life cycle „from cradle to grove". One of the main tasks of IPP is the determination and analysis of product life cycle (LCA). IPP focused on the minimalization of environmental harmful aspects of products. Connection of environmental and marketing range of product life cycle allows determining Integrated Product Life Cycle. Effective limitation of negative environmental effects is possible due to the exploitation of such environment protection tools like: promotion of complying with product life cycle LCA, supporting by the modification of the economical and legał reąuirements, Communication with the consumer. The important manner of communication with the consumer is the ecolabelling. Eco-labells confirms that given product is more environmentally friendly than other from the same group. In the paper three type of environmental labeling were characterized as well as relationship between ecolabelling and IPP. (original abstract)
