Abstrakty

Ostatnie kilka lat na rynku papierów wartościowych należało do spółek internetowych, a przebieg inwestycji w tym obszarze miało bardzo burzliwy charakter, prowadzący niekiedy do przewartościowania akcji spółek obszarów związanych z nowymi technologiami. Obecnie dynamika tego rynku spadła, a zmiany wymusiły na firmach internetowych konsolidacje. Artykuł jest próbą pokazania głównych aspektów inwestycji i konsolidacji na rynku spółek internetowych.

Investments in Internet stocks were very popular not so far ago but today they have lost some of their attractiveness. Despite that the Internet stocks are still under strong attention of investors because they still believe that the future is up to that virtual sector. Financial and strategic investors have different goals of investing which determine changes in Internet stocks and could be crucial for other capital holders while taking their decisions where to invest. Changes on the market force Internet companies to consolidate. This process not only affects their internal structure but also can change their position on the market. The added value of consolidation could also improve the perspectives of development. This article is pointed to show the main aspects of investing and consolidation on Internet stocks' market what is clearly very important to understand the future of this sector. With the knowledge about processes which take place on this market the decisions of capital holders could be more efficient. (original abstract)
