Abstrakty

Celem pytania postawionego w tytule artykułu jest przypomnienie, że istnieje "liczący się dorobek teorii ekonomii w zakresie podziału i dystrybucji oraz współzależności występujące pomiędzy wzrostem gospodarczym a nierównościami dochodowymi." W artykule podjęto próbę sformułowania zaleceń pod adresem polityki gospodarczej, jakie według autora pozytywnie wpływają na proces doganiania przez Polskę poziomu rozwoju krajów wysoko rozwiniętych.

In this article, the author examines the relationships between income inequalities and economic growth. Based on numerous analyses of these relationships, he suggests that in the face of hitherto cause-and-effect relationships between inequalities and growth in Poland in the 1990s, and the conclusions raised by new endogenous theories of growth, it is possible under Polish conditions, and whilst pursuing a pro-growth policy, to have an impact in the medium and long-term on reducing or arresting the increase in income inequalities in society.
