Pierwsza, dotyczy problematyki podstawowego celu funkcjonowania organizacji, a zarazem kluczowych kryteriów oceny skuteczności jej działania.

The Holly Father touches in the encyclicals three groups of problems related to management. He refers: to the issue of the epigenetic purpose of an organization and the most important criterions of efficiency of its functioning, to the negative effects of organizations' functioning, and to the ways of counteraction these effects. In the article thoughts of John Paul II about each of these three groups of problems and same themes (downsizing, critical management studies, the conception of spiritual organization among other things) very important for contemporary management, closed to the reflection of The Holly Father, has been discussed.
