Abstrakty

Zaprezentowano w układzie chronologicznym przyczyny, przebieg i konsekwencje strajku górników w Wielkiej Brytanii. Omówiono sytuację gospodarczą górnictwa w okresie powojennym i w polityce kolejnych rządów, ze szczególnym naciskiem na lata poprzedzające strajk. Opisano przebieg strajku w kolejnych miesiącach, scharakteryzowano konflikty pomiędzy zwolennikami i przeciwnikami strajku, a także zmiany stosunków pracowniczych w górnictwie i reformy będące konsekwencjami strajku.

In this article reasons, progress and consequences of British miners strike were presented in chronological order. Economic situation of mining before strike was discussed. Progress of strike in every month, conflicts between antagonists and followers of strike were described together with reforms after this strike. (KZ)
