Artykuł opisuje programy rekrutacji migrantów w krajach Europy Zachodniej i USA od roku 1945 do chwili obecnej. Rozważa również polityki migracyjne analizowanych obszarów w kontekście migracji pracowniczych. Artykuł ten powinien służyć jako dokument dla tych wszystkich twórców prawa migracyjnego, zwłaszcza z regionu Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej, którzy tworząc to prawo chcą uczyć się i wyciągać wnioski z błędów przeszłości popełnianych w krajach o znacznie dłuższej od Polski historii imigracji. Authors of his paper describe temporary workers schemes in Western Europe and US since 1945 till presence. They also analyse migration policies of the regions in question in the context of labour migration. This paper should serve as an document for all those who are in charge of migration law. It should especially serve as an background paper for those policy makers in CEE region, who while creating the law would like to avoid mistakes and, learn lessons form countries with much longer than Poland immigration history.
