Abstrakty

Przedstawiono zagadnienia dotyczące struktury kapitału oraz czynników ją kształtujących. Zaprezentowano wyniki badań przeprowadzonych na Giełdzie Papierów Wartościowych w Warszawie. Badania zostały przeprowadzone metodami prostej regresji liniowej oraz regresji wielorakiej. Badania te pozwoliły na pozytywne zweryfikowanie hipotezy o możliwości zidentyfikowania grupy czynników o kwantyfikowalnym wpływie na strukturę kapitału polskich spółek giełdowych.

The article presents results of research on the range of factors affecting the capital structure of Polish listed companies. Profitability, non-interest (capital) based tax shields, and product uniqueness are concluded to be among the factors which most strongly determine the capital structure of Polish listed companies.
