Abstrakty

Wzrost produktywności pracy w Polsce w latach 1995-2008 był szybszy niż wzrost płac. Celem badania jest stwierdzenie, w jakim stopniu za owo zjawisko oraz wynikające z niego zmiany relacji płac do wydajności pracy odpowiedzialne były skutki realokacji sektorowej. Uwzględnione zostaną przy tym podział na poszczególne kategorie PKD, jak też mniej szczegółowe dekompozycje na grupy sektorów podlegających i niepodlegających wymianie zagranicznej, relatywnie pracoi kapitałochłonnych oraz sektory wydobywcze, przemysłowe i usługowe. Wyniki analiz opartych na danych jednostkowych wskazują, że skutki realokacji sektorowej mają na ogół niewielki wpływ na zmiany pozycji płac - zarówno trendu, jak i zmienności cyklicznej. Niemal całą zmienność pozycji płac w gospodarce można objaśnić zmiennością pozycji płac w ramach poszczególnych sektorów. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The increase in labour productivity in Poland in 1995-2008 was quicker than increase in wages. The study aims at determining to what extent this development and the ensuing changes in the wage-labour productivity ratio were due to the effects of sectoral reallocation. It takes into account the breakdown into categories in accordance with the Polish Classification of Activities, as well as less detailed types of decomposition into tradable and non-tradable or capital and labour-intensive sectors as well as mining, manufacturing and services. Results of analyses based on individual data indicate that the effects of sectoral reallocation have generally little influence on wage variability - both in terms of trend and cyclical variation. Almost all the wage variability in the economy may be explained by changes in wage variability within particular sectors. (original abstract)
