Abstrakty

W artykule omówiono zasadnicze różnice między pojęciami systemu informacyjnego (SI) i informatycznego (Sil), przypominając znaczenie terminów informacji i danych. Zwrócono uwagę na rozumienie tych pojęć i ich pochodnych. Uwzględniono ich znaczenie w nauce organizacji i zarządzania. Podkreślono strategiczne znaczenie poprawności i relewantności użycia tych pojęć w kształceniu studentów i praktyce zarządzania. Artykuł skierowany jest do badaczy i praktyków tworzących i wykorzystujących systemy informacyjne. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The Author submits key differences between the terms: information system and computer system, reminding also of meanings of words: information and data. Attention has been paid to proper understanding of these terms and their derivative expressions. Their sense in teaching of organisation and management has been considered. Strategic meaning of correctness and relevance of using these terms in teaching and management practice has been emphasized. The article is designated for researchers and specialists who create and utilise information systems. (original abstract)
