Abstrakty

Celem artykułu jest analiza poziomu bezrobocia w Polsce w ujęciu przestrzennym. W badaniu podjęto próbę weryfikacji hipotezy mówiącej, że poszczególne jednostki przestrzenne podlegają wpływom innych jednostek oraz zależą od zachodzących w nich zmian społeczno-ekonomicznych. W artykule zaprezentowano podstawy teoretyczne budowy modelu ekonometrycznego z autoregresją przestrzenną SAR (Spatial Autocorrelation). Model ten wykorzystano do opisu wpływu wybranych zmiennych społeczno-ekonomicznych na kształtowanie się poziomu stopy bezrobocia w Polsce. (fragment tekstu)

Social and economic phenomena in a geographic area are usually explained by their neighbourhoods. Traditional regression models are not suitable for working with this type of data. Spatial regression works more effectively with data in which spatial dependence is present. The aim of this paper is to present the results of a spatial analysis of the unemployment rate on the "powiat" level in 2007 in Poland. Spatial Autoregressive Models (SAR) were used to describe the unemployment rate according to selected socio--economic variables. The results are illustrated with graphs and maps. GUS publications served as the source of statistical data and calculations were made with R CRAN, GeoDa and ArcGis software. (original abstract)
