The literature on management focuses on the fact that discussuions on organisation innovativeness barriers require research at two levels of analysis: organisational and individual. The article, identifying organisation innovativeness barriers, integrates both levels of analysis - combines the impact of factors perceived as "organisational" with "individual" factors affecting the organisation innovativeness. Every innovativeness barrier perceived by the innovator was confronted with at least one "organisational" cause of this barrier. The considerations included in the paper should be educational for entrepreneurs, helpful to formulate an effective innovation strategy that accounts for change implementation despite "organisational " and "subjective" factors hampering the process of generation or/and implementation of innovation in the organisation.
