Abstrakty

Niniejszy artykuł został poświęcony przybliżeniu systemu corporate governance w gospodarkach wschodzących, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem wpływu reform na ich kształt. Analizie poddano cztery największe gospodarki rozwijające się, czyli Brazylię, Rosję, Indie i Chiny. Przeprowadzona analiza wskazuje, iż wysiłki na rzecz reform nadzoru korporacyjnego podejmowane są także w gospodarkach wschodzących, których specyfika przyczyniła się do wykształcenia innych narodowych systemów i innych problemów corporate governance. Różne są także efekty wdrażania reform nadzoru korporacyjnego, a zmiany jakościowe następują w analizowanych krajach dość powoli. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The paper focuses on the corporate governance systems in emerging markets, mostly in BRIC countries, which include Brazil, Russia, India and China. The analysis reveals corporate governance reforms and initiatives undertaken in these countries, whose national specificity resulted in the emergence of other control systems and challenges. Additionally, the characteristics of the emerging markets led to other (than observed in developed economies) changes of corporate governance, whereas the pace of reforms appears to be slow.
