Celem artykułu jest uzyskanie odpowiedzi na pytanie: jakie korzyści może przynieść inwestorowi inwestycja w produkt strukturyzowany oferowany na rynku polskim oraz z jakimi zagrożeniami musi się on liczyć, wybierając ten alternatywny produkt? Przeanalizowano warunki ofert produktów strukturyzowanych subskrybowanych przez instytucje finansowe w Polsce w okresie od stycznia do 19 marca 2009 r. Źródłem wiedzy o oferowanych produktach były informacje zawarte na stronach internetowych emitentów1 oraz na portalu dotyczącym polskiego rynku struktur - http://www.structus.pl/. (fragment tekstu)

The unstable situation recently persistent at the world stock markets has resulted in seeking for alternative opportunities by investors for their investments in shares, investment funds and bank deposits. Structured products may represent such an alternative. The objective of the hereby article is to obtain an answer to the question: what advantages may result for an investor from investing in a structured product offered at the Polish market, as well as what threats have to be considered by an investor who chooses such an alternative product? The research was conducted on the basis of the analysis of terms and conditions characteristic of offers of structured products subscribed by financial institutions in Poland in the period from January till 19ch March 2009. Information presented on the Internet sites by issuers and on the portal about the structures - http:// www.structus.pl/ at the Polish market became the source of information on the offered products.
