Analiza regresji jest ważnym i często stosowanym narzędziem wielowymiarowej analizy statystycznej. W pracy przedstawiono rozważania dotyczące aspektów metodologicznych i zastosowania tej metody w badaniach marketingowych.

Regression analysis is an important and frequently applied tool of multivariate statistical analysis. The study presents some considerations concerning the methodological aspects and application of that method in marketing research.
The article discusses the measurement problem of the influence of variables on market share and sale. To illustrate, we provide an example of the measure of difference and point elasticity application for Chrysler cars based on data from the period 1981-1987. (original abstract)
