The international cooperation for the global financial system stability is a complex and multi-faceted phenomenon. Present global financial crisis shows that without cooperation it will be difficult to oppose its effects and even though protectionist tendency and "national egoisms" come out, one should believe that they would not hide the benefits of cooperation. The role of Poland in the international cooperation for financial stability is rather small and we rather have a distant position in the process of decision making in the area of international financial order. Particularly unfavorably one should asses the absence of Poland in group G-20, which today has become the very important platform for a debate about condition and perspectives of the global finance. But we should believe that Poland would be able to acquire stronger position in the future and would participate in co-creation of the new world financial order. (original abstract)
