The purpose of this article is to present the most important aspects of cross-border UCITS investment funds distribution. The implementation of the UCITS IV directive should accelerate the growth of the number of cross-border funds and enable investors to access to foreign inyestment funds which are characterized by transparent law regulations and which are geographically, politically and monetary diversified. Cross-border investment funds promoters and these countries who want to be UCITS Home Member State should be ready for these changes. It may be a great challenge for domestic market also. Simply because of the fact, that implementation of such politically diversified cross-border funds would be a great deal of competition for local offer. To that analysis were used reports and researches published by International institutions such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Investment Company Institute, European Fund and Asset Management Association and - on polish market - Analizy Online.
