Abstrakty
Niniejszy artykuł prezentuje stosunek młodych konsumentów do produktów ekologicznych w świetle badań przeprowadzonych w ośmiu krajach europejskich (w Czechach, Hiszpanii, Finlandii, Francji, Niemczech, Polsce, Portugalii, Wielkiej Brytanii). Ecology is more and more popular in today's world, it plays a very important role in the behavior of consumers who pay much more attention to ecological character of the purchased products. This paper presents the attitude of young consumers to ecological products in the light of research which was conducted in eight European countries (Czech Republic, Spain, Finland, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Great Britain). Generalizing the results, it can be stated that young Europeans do not belong to the eco-consumers' group; in majority they do not pay much attention to ecological aspects of the purchased products. At the same time it should be underlined that the attitude to ecological products is different among the researched groups (eg. Portugal and Great Britain). Such behaviour implies the companies' activities on particular markets, eg. promotion of ecological aspects of products, increase of consumers' awareness concerning ecological products, etc. The companies should take into account these ecological determinants when preparing the marketing strategies and try to adapt them to differentiated markets and consumers.
