Ponieważ ramy artykułu nie pozwalają na pełną ich prezentację, wybrano regulacje dotyczące trzech dokumentów: weksla trasowanego, dokumentu ubezpieczeniowego i świadectwa pochodzenia. In 2007 the new rules for documentary credits were implemented by International Chamber of Commerce. The new rules include: • ICC Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits - UCP 600, • eUCP Supplement for Electronic Presentation, version 1.1., • International Standard Banking Practice for the Examination of Documents under Documentary Credits - ISBP, 2007 Revision for UCP 600. Accordingly to UCP 600 documentary credit means any arrangement that is irrevocable and constitutes a definite undertaking of the issuing bank to honour a complying presentation. Complying presentation means a presentation that is in accordance with the terms and conditions of the credit, the applicable provisions of the UCP 600 and international standard banking practice. The paper presents International Standard Banking Practice for the Examination of Documents under Documentary Credits. The ISBP, as it is commonly called, provided an intelligent checklist of items document checkers could refer to in determining how the UCP 600, applied in daily practice. Standards for the examination of such documents as: drafts, insurance documents and certificates of origin are the subject of detailed analysis. (original abstract)
