The Production Costs as an Element of Structural Inflation

Samoistna inflacja kosztów wywodzi się z rosnącej tendencji do zmian ogólnego poziomu kosztów, która wywołuje spiralę kosztów i cen zbytu. Na podstawie materiałów statystycznych z okresu 1971-1979 przeanalizowano tendencję wzrostową przemysłowych kosztów własnych produkcji jako elementu strukturalnej inflacji kosztów w Polsce.
On the basis of statistical material from the period 1971-1979 the authors have analyzed the rising tendency of industrial production costs in Poland. This fact has been stated on the basis of three statistical samples: (branches, enterprises, and industrial products. The outstandingly high increase in material costs is pointed at - rather than the rise of prices which is usually blamed as the factor resposible for the inflationary pressure. The authors criticize the neglect of marginal costs analysis in the economic practice, as well as the purely technical understanding of "production forces". (original abstract)
