Abstrakty

Przedstawiono wnioski z doświadczeń Autorki, która uczestniczyła w projekcie badawczym, dotyczącym skutków finansowych wprowadzenia w Holandii zakazu kastracji prosiąt. Skupiono się na dwóch kluczowych kwestiach decydujących o sukcesach tego typu projektów: właściwej organizacji projektu i odpowiednio dobranej i zrealizowanej metodzie rozwiązania problemu. W procesie wprowadzania zmiany każdy z interesariuszy, a zwłaszcza integrujący ich działania naukowcy, powinni zadbać o prawidłową konstrukcję i nienaganne funkcjonowanie modelu 7"S" McKinseya. Należy zadbać zarówno o jego elementy twarde: strategię, strukturę, systemy jak również miękkie: umiejętności, załogę, styl zarządzania. W projektach z udziałem wielu interesariuszy najlepszym rozwiązaniem jest dochodzenie do akceptowanej postaci modelu metodą krokową, czyli rozbudowywanie go w miarę rozszerzania zakresu zmiennych, które zainteresowani wspólnie zgadzają się uwzględnić. The main aim of this article is to present recommendations from the way, in which Dutch conduct research in the field of agricultural economics. The research "Financial effects of abandoning the castration of piglets in the Netherlands" was prepared on the order of the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality, by the Agricultural Economics Research Institute in the Hague with collaboration with all stakeholders. The most important in this kind of projects are two things. First is good organization, which means that all stakeholders take care of the elements of 7 "S" model of McKinsey - the hard ones (strategy, structure, systems), the soft ones (style, staff, skills), as well as of binding them shared values. The research institute s role is not only to be the leader of the research, but also to mediate between all the stakeholders. But good organization alone doesn't ensure the success. The same important is properly suited methodology. When the project engages a lot of stakeholders and its outcome and procedures must be approved by them, the best solution is to choose step-b-step procedure, which enables stakeholders' discussions about each extension of the model on each step.
