Znaczenie marki w procesie komunikacji rynkowej odnosi się do jej atrybutów, korzyści i wartości warunkowanych w coraz większym stopniu przez elementy symboliczne. Ułatwiają one proces przekazywania przez przedsiębiorstwo komunikatów rynkowych do wszystkich uczestników rynku. Celem niniejszego opracowania było przedstawienie elementów symbolicznych marki w procesie komunikacji rynkowej. Ukazano kompozycję elementów symbolicznych i mechanizm ich wpływu na wizerunek marki przy różnych strategiach przedsiębiorstw wobec marek. Przyjęto continuum strategii od marek indywidualnych do zbiorowych z założeniem istnienia form pośrednich, czyli submarek. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The brand meaning in market communications process is related to brand attributes, advantages and values determined by symbolic elements. They facilitate process of passing market announcements by enterprise to all market participants. The aim of this study was to present the meaning of brand symbolic elements in market communication process. The composition of symbolic elements and the mechanism of their influence on the brand image was presented using various brand strategies. The continuum of strategy was accepted from individual brands to collective ones with foundation of indirect forms, that is sub-brands. (original abstract)
