The major interest of the study was to gain better understanding of prerequisites for intensification of entrepreneurial orientation in processes of local governance. We assumed that the entrepreneurial approach is a relevant response to the challenges reflecting the threats and possibilities emerging in a local society. We also assumed that more entrepreneurially focused governance means numerous partnerships and other interactions that express the collective pursuit of opportunities in a local society. (...) The object of the study was a Polish municipality, perceived as strong entrepreneurially oriented which was pioneer in the process of change. (fragment of text)
