Abstrakty

W artykule przedstawiono zależności między wybranymi wskaźnikami ekonomicznymi a rozwojem rynków kapitałowych i sektora bankowego. Szczegółowa analiza objęła następujące kraje: Bułgarię, Czechy, Estonię, Łotwę, Litwę, Polskę, Rumunię, Słowację, Belgię, Finlandię, Francję, Niemcy, Grecję, Irlandię, Włochy, Holandię, Portugalię, Hiszpanię, Szwecję, Wielką Brytanię. Rozwój giełd papierów wartościowych i sektora bankowego jest ujemnie powiązany z inflacją, dodatnio skorelowany z opodatkowaniem przedsiębiorstw i ujemnie skorelowany ze wzrostem gospodarczym. The paper presents the relations between selected economic indicators and the development of capital markets and the banking sector. A detailed analysis comprises the following countries: Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the UK. The development of stock exchanges and the banking sector is negatively correlated with inflation rates, positively correlated with corporate taxation and negatively correlated with economic growth.
