Abstrakty

W artykule przedstawiono różne definicje kapitału ludzkiego oraz jego komponenty. Następnie omówiono miejsce kapitału ludzkiego w modelach wzrostu gospodarczego oraz jego wpływ na proces wzrostu. Ukazano również próby szacowania wartości kapitału ludzkiego w Polsce. Na koniec zaprezentowano model Mankiwa-Romera-Weila.

The article introduces the relation between the human capital input and economic growth in Poland 1995-2002. Having based on the recent endogenous economic growth models with developed Cobb-Douglas production function and economic growth decomposition in Poland according to the assumptions of Mankiw-Romer-Weil's model, and findings of number of empirical studies it is emphasized the importance of investment in human capital as in a determinant of economic growth. It is suggested some implications for economic policy that promote human capital stimulate other areas of Polish economy. (original abstract)
