Celem niniejszego opracowania jest przedstawienie konstrukcji tego systemu emerytalnego i zasad przyznawania świadczeń. Zebrane informacje pokazują aktualny stan prawny (wprowadzane i zaprojektowane reformy), a dostępne dane statystyczne obrazują sposób funkcjonowania zabezpieczenia na starość w Kanadzie. Dla oceny kanadyjskiego systemu emerytalnego wykorzystano w artykule międzynarodowe analizy i badania porównawcze (OECD, MERCER). (fragment tekstu)

The article reviews the pension system in Canada, its structure and the relevant regulations regarding social security benefits. The main focus is placed on the three pillars of the Canadian pension system and how they evolved over time. The author also looks at the reforms planned in Canada to ensure the sustainability of the system. The article uses the data from OECD, MERCER and other international sources. (original abstract)
