The paper selects some highlights in the development of Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and takes notice of ideologies and hopes behind environmental life cycle movement. It raises the question if LCA results have been able to penetrate into public awareness and by what media this has become possible. We are just on the way in this development. (original abstract)

W artykule przedstawiono wybrane kierunki rozwoju ekologicznej oceny cyklu życia LCA oraz główne idee oraz nadzieje związane z ruchami ekologicznymi opartymi na tej ocenie. Autorka próbuje odpowiedzieć na pytanie, czy i w jaki sposób można propagować wyniki analizy LCA w społeczeństwie. Wskazuje również na możliwe drogi postępowania. (abstrakt oryginalny)
