The article analyses the value, dynamics, directions and structure of Poland's exports and imports in order to determine the scope and strength of impact the global crisis has had on Poland's foreign trade. Throughout the time of the crisis, Poland's trade deficit decreased markedly, and the weaknesses of the foreign trade structure such as intense geographic concentration, unfavourable comparative advantage patterns or a low innovation level came abruptly to the surface. Artykuł analizuje wartość, dynamikę, kierunki i strukturę eksportu i importu Polski w celu określenia zakresu i siły wpływu globalnego kryzysu na polski handel zagraniczny. Podczas kryzysu istotnie zmniejszył się deficyt handlowy Polski, a ujawniły się słabości w strukturze handlu zagranicznego, takie jak intensywna koncentracja geograficzna, niekorzystne wzorce przewagi komparatywnej czy niski poziom innowacji.
