Abstrakty

Artykuł opisuje reakcję europejskich związków zawodowych na kolejne fazy kryzysu ekonomicznego oraz na działania oszczędnościowe podejmowane przez instytucje unijne. Autorzy zwracają uwagę, że kryzys zadłużeniowy w strefie euro ma swoje źródła w niepełnej architekturze Unii Walutowej i Gospodarczej, która poza dewaluacją płac nie posiadała żadnych innych instrumentów dostosowawczych. Ostatnie decyzje UE dotyczące wprowadzenia wzmocnionego zarządzania gospodarczego oraz semestru europejskiego powodują, że zdolność związków zawodowych do zachowania autonomii rokowań płacowych może zostać trwale ograniczona. Zdaniem autorów jedyną możliwą odpowiedzią jest konsekwentne pogłębianie współpracy związkowej na poziomie unijnym. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The article describes response of European trade unions to subsequent stages of the economic crisis and to austerity measures undertaken by EU institutions. Authors take note that sovereign-debt crisis in Eurozone is born of incomplete architecture of Economic and Monetary Union, which didn't have any adjustment tools apart from wage devaluation. The last decisions of EU institutions introducing the stronger economic governance and European semester may permanently limit the ability of trade unions to preserve autonomy of wage bargaining. In the authors' opinion the only possible solution for trade unions is to consistently deepen their cooperation at EU level. (original abstract)
