Abstrakty
EN
Macroeconometric modelling stood out among other areas of research as early as in the 1930s, i.e. at the moment of its inception, and following 50 years of turbulent development it became a separate sub-branch of science. There are two dates of symbolic value in this respect: 1969, when Jan Tinbergen was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences (the first such prize to be granted), and 1980, when the same prize was awarded to Lawrence R. Klein. The last three decades have engendered novel ideas, which resulted in the creation of new classes of macro-models, such as SVAR, VEC or DSGE. Macromodelling remains a highly interesting field of research. Without a doubt the years to come will bring new advances in this domain. (original abstract)
