The article reflects on the evaluation of resilience and adaptability concepts from evolutionary perspective. It further explores the evolution of regional development conceptions with emphasis on different nature of Central East Europe and advanced western economies. It also discusses the concepts of resilience and adaptability, and depicts their sources and development.(original abstract)
